As a new patient to this office, I was having a hard time getting my referral to them from my primary. Austin, who was helping me to schedule my appointment, went above and beyond in calling my primary to get everything taken care of. It's so nice to deal with people that actually care and want to help. Everyone in the office was extremely kind and helpful and Dr Cox spent a lot of time discussing my issues. I did not feel rushed and all of my questions were answered. When I called the office after my appointment with a question, I got a call back within 15 minutes. Definitely would recommend this office to anyone.

At the beginning of 2017, I had both hips replaced by Dr. Jose Torres and I have to say I couldn't be happier with the results. I was up and around in no time at all. Not only is he an excellent surgeon, he truly cares about his patients. Before the surgeries, he was thorough with what I would experience and was patient with my questions and concerns, and after, he made sure I was recuperating to his satisfaction. All I can say is thank you very much and I highly recommend him.
With regards to the nurses and staff at West Orange Orthopaedics, I give them all an A+. Very helpful and friendly.

Dr. Torres took the time to listen to my complaints about my shoulder. I followed his recommendations and shoulder is now healed. I saw Dr. Torres again for my knee. He gave me a cortisone shot and a short while later the knee was feeling better.

Dr. Torres is an excellent doctor , thoughtful and kind person. Would never go to anyone else.

I was referred to Dr. Cox with high regards by my best friend when I injured my knee. He was very professional and caring and did a wonderful job fixing me up! He even helped with my shoulder pain by a simple injection.
I was so pleased with Dr. Cox, I took my mother from her ortho dr and brought her to Dr. Cox. I felt I could trust him with her and he would show great care for her and the fact that she needed a complete knee replacement. He did not disappoint - again! We'll be back again if we need treatment. We will also refer others to his care.

First time I saw Dr.Jose Torres was for my shoulder. In 1999 when my right knee became quite painful I had total knee replacement done. Following Dr. Torres advice and physical therapy I felt great. No pain in right knee. In 2020 my left knee received total knee replacement and again fantastic results. Dr. Torres will always be my go to doctor. I recommend Dr. Torres highly. He is a kind patient man and will explain everything to you. The office staff very efficient and surgical nurse fantastic.

From check-in to check-out my visits to West Orange Orthopaedics have been nothing short of absolutely awesome.

Upon high recommendation and referral, I first came to Dr. Cox for a right knee replacement. Dr. Cox did a magnificent job. I did the PT he advised and was waling without my walker within 2 weeks. I never had to use a cane and was able to drive within 4 weeks.

2 years later I needed a right hip replacement and the experience was just as awesome.

I was just in for my annual checkup on the knee and hip and upon examining the x-rays, Dr. Cox indicated they both look like new!

All of this, plus Dr. Cox is a great and compassionate guy willing to answer any and all questions and input I may have.

I recommend Dr. Cox to any and all of my Friends and acquaintances that are experiencing joint pains and/or discomfort.

I was so nervous about seeing an orthopaedic surgeon because I thought he would immediately schedule a knee replacement. Dr. Jacob Cox was amazing! He listened to my situation, was very compassionate and recommended a cortisone shot and knee brace as temporary solutions for my problem. I have received great results from these less-invasive treatments. When I do need a replacement, Dr. Cox will be the one to do it!!!
