Andrew joined West Orange Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, P.A. in April of 2023. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Florida, where he had the opportunity to work with the football and swimming and diving teams. He then worked for two years as a certified athletic trainer at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County providing care for the women’s soccer, baseball, basketball, and track and field teams. He then moved with his wife back to Florida, settling on the space coast, where he worked as an outreach athletic trainer for CORA Physical Therapy providing athletic training services at Melbourne High School before going to PA school at Nova Southeastern University in Orlando Florida.
After PA school, Andrew joined Dr. Mark Brooks, Internal Medicine practice at Health Central Ocoee for 10 months before having the opportunity to serve as a medical missionary in Honduras with his wife who is a Family Nurse Practitioner. While in Honduras, Andrew was able to provide emergency and primary care acting in a Humanitarian Capacity at a rural mission hospital on the northern coast of Honduras. Andrew oversaw the Orthopaedic, Rehabilitation and Wound Care Department during his almost six years of service as a full-time medical missionary.
Andrew and his family decided to transition back to the United States after the birth of their second daughter. Andrew is excited to bring Orthopaedic experiences from a variety of settings to help the patients of West Orange Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, P.A. get back to functional living whether that be returning to sports participation or achieving a satisfactory level of function for activities for daily living.
Andrew was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and is married with two children.
